Sharon and Rich: 9.12.09

Sharon and Rich had a wonderful wedding at the gorgeous Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Mass, filled with grand halls, spiral staircases, and beautiful art that is, of course copyrighted and not photographable for commercial purposes, so you’ll just have to go see it yourself.

This being 2009, it rained on the wedding day, but the nicest coffee shop owners I’ve ever seen let us shoot all of the family and friends group shots as well as a few formals right there in the middle of the shop. Good coffee, too.

You gotta love any groom who does a breakdance-off with his brother at the reception, and any bride who encourages this. Lots of crazy dancing in the slideshow.

brett maxwell - great photos, as always.

I don’t have much opinion on the borderless photos, but I do like having the verticals next to another photo, it makes it much easier to see in a browser window.

William Massey - The kissing shadow against the cake is a really original idea. I’ve never seen anyone do that before. Keep up the awesome work!
